He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Harry and Verna Mae Ross (Cady); and his son-in-law Mike Shaffer. He is survived by: his wife Donna Lynn Nuss; his children, Amanda Kinney (Dan) of Stockham, Sarah Wilson (Ryan) of Wellington and Seth Ross (Taylor) of Giltner; his grandchildren, Jadlynn Kinney, Marah Kinney, Avett Ross and Skylar Wilson; and his brothers, Dennis Ross of Lincoln and Terry Ross (Judy) of Aurora, Neb.

Memorials may be made to the family to designate at a later date.
