He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Elder and Dorothy Elder (Keefer); his wife Darlene Gordon; his son Barry Elder; and his sisters, Lois Jean Peterson (Rex) and Helen Peterson (Willis).
He is survived by: his daughters, Debra (Wayne Wehmeier) of Hampton, NE. and Cheri (Matthew Keyes) of Omaha, NE; his grandchildren, JariAnn Dunekacke (Tom), Jordan Wehmeier, Jacob, Rachel Keyes and Katherine Elder; and his great grandchildren, Parker Dale Dunekacke, Dylan Dunekacke and Dale.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St John's Lutheran Church of Ogallala, NE (466 Rd East G S, Ogallala, NE 69153).
