He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Roscoe and Bertha Ella Fassnacht (Roemer); his former wife Janice Jeanette Blanke; his wife Etta "Jo" Schultz; and his siblings, Louise Hasenkamp, Byrdene Thompson and Dwight Fassnacht.

He is survived by: his children, Daniel Fassnacht (Jamie) of Parkville, Diane Crouch (Russ) of York and Carolyn Sullivan (Mike) of Aurora; his grandchildren, Eric Fassnacht (Katy), Stephanie Crouch (Jeff Garcia), Emily Peterson, Kristin Crawford (Matt), Megan Crouch (Tim Burnham), Christopher Sullivan (Kelsey) and Julia Sullivan; his great grandchildren, Ethan Fassnacht, Max Fassnacht, Elodie Peterson, Everly and William Peterson; and his siblings, Ramer Fassnacht of Aurora and Naomi Fassnacht of McCool Junction. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
