He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Rauert and Frances Rauert (Brown); his former wife Margo A. Rauert; his sister Janice Rauert; and his brother-in-law Roger Luthy.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Lee (Start) of Aurora; his children, Kent Rauert (Kara) of York, Casey Lee (Jessica) of Ashland and Darcie Burde (Adrian) of Gainesville, FL; his grandchildren, Alexandra Crawford (Joshua) of Lincoln, Ashton, Anna, Avery Rauert of York, Alyssa, Brycen Lee of Ashland and Isabella Burde of Gainesville, FL.; and his sister Bernice Luthy of Aurora. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Westside Covenant Church (1009 1st St, Aurora, NE 68818). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Aurora Cemetery (1309 NE-14, Aurora, NE 68818). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Westside Covenant Church (1009 1st St, Aurora, NE 68818).
