Evelyn Zehr Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2020, at the age of 95, Evelyn Zehr of Aurora, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cox and Addie Cox (Brown); her former spouse Arbie Williams; her son Jim; her spouse Clair "Shorty" Zehr; her sister Dorothy; her brother-in-law Glen Harp; and her stepson Rick Zehr.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen; her children-in-law, Stan Wilshusen of Aurora and Jeanette Williams-Ferguson of Broken Bow; her stepdaughter Beverly Salmon (Jim) of Evansbille; her stepdaughter-in-law Connie Zehr of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Tammy Cooper of Odessa, Kevin Wilshusen of LasCruces, NM and Angela Straw (Rick) of Lincoln; her stepgrandsons, Brad Salmon (Kim), Brett Salmon (Mindy), Doug Zehr (Donita) and Todd Zehr (Cathy); her niece Shirley Colson (Harp); and her friend Haley. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, and 6 step-great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions in place at this time, visitation will be from 4-7 p. m., Thursday, June 4th, at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora.
Memorials may be made in care of the family to designate at a later date.
