She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd E. Lacey and Dorothy Lacey (Cave); and her son Mike. She is survived by: her sons, Ken (Nancy Pence) of Williamsburg, VA, Doug (Sue Luthy) of Indian Land, SC and Jeff (Rhonda Fleischer) of Hastings; and her brother Lloyd Lacey, Jr. (Bud) of Allison, IA. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice, the Presbyterian Church or the Memorial Hospital Foundation in Memory of Dorothy Nelson.
