He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora Winnie Mae Graves (Shadden) and James Farley Graves; and his siblings, Jimmy, Gilbert, Leon and Nadine.

He is survived by: his children, Darren Graves (Shannon) of Aurora, DeAnna Skrastins (Tim) of Colorado Springs, CO and Dorinda Fastnacht (Brant) of Phillips; his close friend Marilyn Ostendorf; his grandchildren, Abby Schumacher (Josh), Hannah Skrastins, Cheyanne Graves, William and Alyssa Fastnacht; and his sister Lorene of Las Vegas, NV..

Memorials may be given to the Aurora animal shelter to honor Dee's love for his dog Jiggs.
