He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kliewer and Delores Kliewer (Paschke); his brother Kenneth; and his in-laws, Darelel and Viola Post.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Post; his daughters, Stacey of Pennsylvania, Cara of Gretna, NE and Taunya (Jared Burns) of Las Cruces, NM; his grandchildren, Sarah (Matt Quimby) of Lincoln, NE., Wyatt Lee (Cara), Avari Rylyn (Taunya), Maddox Jay and Barrett Allen (Sarah); his brother Dennis Kliewer (Shirley) of Bradshaw, NE; his sister-in-law Brenda Robison (Doyle) of Kinsley, KS; his siblings, Rita Wilkins (Edward) of Brentwood, TN and Gary Kliewer (Dede) of Ault, CO; and his sister-in-law Merna Parmenter (Russell) of Grand Island, NE.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stockham Community Church (401 Scott St, Aurora, NE 68818). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to designate at a later date.
