He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur LeRoy and Cecil Pearl Buchholz (Michner); his former wife Janet Moravec; and his brothers, Don and Bill Buchholz.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Buchholz (Lisa) of York, Sandi Costanzo (Vince) of Omaha, Kristi Layman (Bret) of Lincoln, Rob Jensen (Holly), Ang Jensen and Dan Dahlgren of Aurora; his grandchildren, Jessica Hubbard (Anthony) of Lincoln, Samantha Buchholz of York, Hayden Buchholz of Lincoln, Jordan Layman (Paige) of Lincoln, Drew Layman of Lincoln, Hannah Layman of Lincoln, Jack Layman of Lincoln, Josh Layman of Lincoln, Mason Layman of Lincoln, Abbi Costanzo of Omaha, Joey Costanzo of Omaha, Lyndsay Jensen of Aurora, Jonah Jensen (Angelica) of Aurora and Arika Jensen of Aurora; his great grandchildren, Chloe Hubbard and Rylee Hubbard of Lincoln; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Buchholz and Janice Buchholz.
