She was predeceased by: her sisters, Anne O'Lear (Joseph) of Tamaqua, PA and Helen Nabity of Grand Island. She is survived by: her husband Thomas K. Wanek of Aurora; her daughter Kathy; her son-in-law Hank McFarland of Grand Island; her sons, Tom (Kim Wanek) and Jim (Annette Wanek); her grandchildren, Tommy McFarland, Kate McFarland of Grand Island, Andrew Wanek, Michael Wanek, Jane Wanek, Ellie Wanek of Aurora, Katherine Wanek of Omaha, Tommy Wanek of Lincoln, Anna Wanek and Jimmy Wanek of Urbandale, IA; and her brothers-in-law, George Wanek (Margarita) of Omaha, Mike Wanek (Bonna) of Grand Island and Dr. Stanley Nabity of Grand Island. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
