David James Schwartz Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2023, at the age of 62, David James Schwartz of Aurora, Nebraska, born in Norfolk, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Leo and Delilah Mae Schwartz (Klein); his brother-in-law Bryan Denklau; and his stepfather Don Goeden. He is survived by: his wife Liz Kohout (Kube) of Aurora; his children, Matt Schwartz of Lincoln and Shelbi Bates (Colby) of Omaha; his grandson Griffin; his stepsons, Cole of Omaha and Alex of Columbus, Ohio; his siblings, Barb Roberts (John), Bill Schwartz (Judy), Carla Ryan (Tim), Sue Denklau, Mary Heithold (Bryan) and Todd Schwartz (Sheryl); his stepbrothers, John Goeden (Jan) and Jerry Goeden; and his sister-in-law Amy Goeden. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be determined at a later date.
