It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell Purdy of Aurora, Nebraska, born in Phillips, Nebraska, who passed away on October 1, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Purdy and Dorothy Purdy (Arnett); his son Charles Purdy (Chuck); his sister Marilyn Stueven; and his sister-in-law Barbara Epp.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis J. Kruse; his daughters, Peggy Vetter (Clark) of Franklin and Brenda Robison (Doyle) of Kinsley, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Christina Queckboerner (Terry), Corey Kliewer (Monique Funk), Kathrine Griess (Mike), Kelsey Holguin (Jaime) and Adam Vetter (Kara Dauel); and his brother Eldon of Omaha. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
