He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank O. Friesen and Marie Mary Friesen (Goertzen); his spouse Marlyn Kay Bailey; and his brother Delmer Friesen. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Friesen of Chandler, Todd Friesen (Brenda) of Grand Island, Darren Friesen (Jessica) of Grand Island and Ryan Friesen (Teresa) of Grand Island; his siblings, Rendy Friesen (Verda) of Aurora and Rogena Jantzen (Gerald) of Beatrice; his sister-in-law Donita Friesen; and his close friend Marlene "Doris" Flodman. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
