It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Warren Jones (Auburn, Nebraska), born in Brownville, Nebraska, who passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oland Jones and Cornelia Jones (Moore); his siblings, Carlene Hensley and Buck; his sister-in-law Linda Jones; and his granddaughter Samantha Kerwin.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Leota Huffman; his sons, Rick (Becky), Kevin and Terry (Hannah); his grandchildren, Tracy, Jason of Tawni, J. D., Travis, Summer, Rachel, Graycen, Griffin and Finnlee; his sister Veneta Nincehelser; and his sister-in-law Tina McCorkle (Ed). He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hemmingsen Funeral Home (801 S St, Auburn, NE 68305). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers to family choice.
