With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Chitwood (Auburn, Nebraska), born in Viroqua, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 8, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Smith of Brownville; his children, Mark (Linda), Brian (Barbara), Diane (Tony Gratopp) and Linda (Brett DuBay); his grandchildren, Justin Chitwood, Mitchell (Alyssa Chitwood), Wade Chitwood, Darrin (Ashley Chitwood), Cole (Emily Gratopp), Laura (Ken Machisa), Meg Gratopp, Tyler (Tatum DuBay) and Paige DuBay; and his brother Dale (Jan Chitwood) of Leesburg, FL.
