With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert C. Sanders (Auburn, Nebraska), who passed away on April 30, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Sanders and Fern L. Sanders (Pummel); his wife Ann M. Collier; his siblings, John, Alberta, Rose Lee and Arlene; and his great grandchild Bryce.
He is survived by: his former wife Norma Hawley; his daughter Cynthia Highfill; his sisters, Jean Scott of Medford and Milly Thies of Ft. Dodge, Iowa; his son Dave (Peggy Sanders) of Adair, Iowa; his grandsons, Nate Sanders (Dana) of Papillion and Jeff Sanders (Bridgette) of Lusby, Maryland; and his stepgrandsons, Chris Stevenson (Wendy) of Nemaha, Nebraska and Mark Stevenson (Robin) of Nemaha, Nebraska. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; 3-great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
