He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lash and Fern Lash (Jones); his wife Joan Griffiths of Verdon; and his son Phillip. He is survived by: his daughters, Charlotte (Dan Grone), Brenda (Charles Chase) and Sheila Haith; his grandchildren, Ben, Melani Grone, Lane, Stephanie Grone, Leslie (Haith), Tim Sutter, Brook Haith, Jennifer Phelps (Haith), David, Janice Chase, Gabriel, Rachel Chase, Caleb Chase, Elijah, Sydney Chase, Abigail Chase and Simeon Chase; and his great grandchildren, Cayson, Adalyn Grone, Rilian, Rosalyn Grone, Halle Sutter (CJ Goos), Jordan Sutter, Olivia, Jackson Phelps, Malachi, Kezia, Jaaziah, Lycia Chase and Jameson "Herbert" Chase.
