He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin J. Rice and Gladys Rice (Dunlap); his siblings, Duane Mathers, Benjamin Rice Jr., Johnny, Harold Rice, Edna Colglazier, Jetta Kirchman and Freida Hughes; and his brothers-in-law, John Curttright and Bob Borchert.
He is survived by: his children, Benjamin Dean of Auburn, NE and Shanna Marie of Copperas Cove, TX; his wife Jean Rice of Auburn, NE; his grandchildren, Aaron Adams of Auburn, NE, Samantha Adams of Beatrice, NE, Bailey Bohling of Fort Riley, KS and Terrance Bohling of Humboldt, NE; his great grandchild Dawson Deyong of Beatrice, NE; and his sisters, Rosa Curttright of Riverside, MO, Deloris Campbell (Bob) of Seward, NE and Marjorie Borchert of Independence, MO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
