She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Surdez and Sarah Surdez (Cogswill); her sons, Bradley and Rodney Smith of Modesto, CA; her stepchildren, Clarence Yates Jr. (Lisa) of Omaha, NE, Nancy Storant (Robert) of Lincoln, NE, Carol Herron (Steve "Cash") of Rock Port, MO and Susan Smith (Jerry) of St. Joseph, MO; and her brothers, Leo Sudez (Margaret) and Daryl Surdez (Candi) of Sabetha, KS.
She is survived by: her spouses, William E. Smith and Clarence Yates of Auburn, NE. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
