We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2023, at the age of 81, Donald Eugene Smith of Auburn, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Surcy Smith and Vivian Smith (Figgins); his siblings, Ron Smith and Kathy Volker; his grandson Caleb Davis; and his child Erin Emrich.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Emrich (McMichael); his children, Larry Dean Emrich (Eric Emrich) of Auburn, Annette Tennant (Rhonda Barnett) of Auburn and Tina Davis (Travis Emrich) of Clarinda, IA; his nephew Ron Smith (Karen) of Auburn; and his brother Dennis Smith (Cathy) of Piper City, IL. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
