Ruth M. Long Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2020, at the age of 98, Ruth M. Long of Atlanta, Nebraska, born in Kenesaw, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Nolan Long; her sons, Jerry Long and Jimmy Long; her sister Edna Einspahr; and her daughter-in-law Kimberly Long.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Edgren (Arland) of Holdrege, Gaylord Long (Judy) of Bertrand, Nebraska, Greg Long (Jennifer) of Moses Lake, Washington, Glen Long (Kathy) of Elm Creek, Nebraska and Gary Long of Atlanta; her daughter-in-law Rogene Long of New Castle, Wyoming; and her siblings, Ina June Winklemann of Holdrege and Dean Leopold (Rosie) of Loomis, Nebraska. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Due to health concerns, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic; current CDC and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services guidelines for Faith-Based Services will be followed.
A memorial has been established in Ruth's honor, and kindly suggested to the Industry Cemetery; or to the Donor's Choice.
