He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Harold and Katy Darlene Leach (Osborn); his brother Robert Leach; his siblings-in-law, Steve Daily and Sharon Kay Leach; and his nieces, Brynn Daily and Stephanie Leach.
He is survived by: his close friend Bob Egge; his wife Sheryl Smith; his daughters, Gina Schmalz of Holdrege and Stacy Paulson (Jon) of Cedar Springs, Michigan; his grandchildren, Payton, Jaydin, Brayden, Raygen Schmalz of Holdrege, Natalie, Ethan, Emily and Gavin Paulson of Cedar Springs; and his siblings, Richard Leach (Laurie) of Kearney, Nebraska and Debbie Daily of Kearney. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Due to health concerns, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic; the Leach family sincerely encourages each person to make their decision whether to attend Ron's service, based on the best interest of your health, and that of your community.
A memorial has been established in Ron's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
