He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kollman and Catherine Kollman For (Straka); his siblings, Walter, John, Francis, Robert and Eleanor Slaymaker (Kollman); his niece Janice Cogley (Kollman); and his daughter-in-law Elizabeth Kollman (Swall).
He is survived by: his son Eddie Boxx (Trudi) of Warren, TX; his cousin Clara Vrooman (Bill); his wife Virginia Pope Kollman (Ginger); his children, Deana (Kollman), Beutler (Tom) of Johnson, NE., Nathan, Sean, Kelly, William J. Kollman, Jr. of Lincoln, NE, Nick, Alec, Thomas (Keith) of Leavenworth, KS, Cori, Justin, Dillon, Truman, Jack, John R. Kollman of Hot Springs, SD, Joshua, Maddeline, Gail Kollman of Chester, PA, Kate, Kristine (Kollman), Blankenship (Joey) of Graysville, AL, Ashley and Amber; his stepdaughter Kathy Hackel (Tom) of Waycross, GA; his children, Susannah, Sally and Tim Boxx (Melissa) of Dyersburg, TN; his grandchildren, Jacob, Mary Blythe and Elizabeth Goetz (John) of Eagle River, AK; and his son Jacob. He is also survived by 15 Great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He served as Past Commander American Legion Post 87, Knights of Columbus member, Board Member of Sturdevant-McKee Museum, Atkinson Community Foundation member, and he supported local endeavors involving new library and motel to name a few.
