He is survived by: his son Troy Shaffer (Connie) of Orangevale, California; his granddaughters, Jackie Shaffer and Samantha Shaffer; and his sisters, Bernadette Dickau of Valley and Joan Mack of Mountain Home, Idaho. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
