With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phillip John Fritz (Atkinson, Nebraska), who passed away on July 7, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Edward Wortman. He is survived by: his wife Linda (Wortman); his children, Bruce Fritz of Lincoln, NE and Pamela Pongratz; his grandchildren, Amanda, Logan and Miranda of Cody, NE; his son Matthew Fritz (Kaitlin); his grandchildren, Colton, Emily and Kailey of Sioux Falls, SD; his son Aaron Fritz (Emily) of Elk Point, SD; his siblings, Marvin Fritz (Dee) of O'Neill, NE, Helen Plugge (Scott) of Bartlett, NE and Mike Fritz (Julie) of Atkinson, NE; and his mother-in-law Emily Wortman. He is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Phil's final request was to be generous and donate to the Team Jack Foundation, Beginnings Pregnancy Resource Center, St. Joesph's School, or Wounded Warrior Project.
