He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bill Micheel and Ruth Micheel of Ainsworth; his grandfather Kurt; his wife Lindsey Straka; his family Tinzley Micheel; his children, Keyanna Fix (Blaine) of Atkinson, Olivia Micheel of Basset, Jack Janzing and Tinzley Micheel of Atkinson; his siblings, Rex (Julie Micheel) and Roxane Micheel (Briand Schwartz); his parents-in-law, Bert and Karen Straka of Stuart; his siblings-in-law, Susan Straka (Heyden), Tracy Thompson (Doug) and Alan Straka of O'Neill; his brother Doug Micheel; and his grandparents, Otto and Dorothy Micheel (Pinkie).
In lieu of flowers a fund has been set up at the Nebraska Bank in Atkinson for Kurt's children for future education.
