It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Easton of Atkinson, Nebraska, born in Stuart, Nebraska, who passed away on April 19, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Asa Watson and Bonnie B. Watson (Sammons); and her sisters, Sharon Dexter, Phyllis Blackmore (Bob), Charol Tibbetts (Bub) and Beth Cihal (Bill).
She is survived by: her children, Jodean K., Ron D. Sterns Sr. (Gwen) of Inman, NE, Jodi Poessnecker (Glen) of Atkinson and Robin Cronk (Scott) of Page, NE; her sister Nancy Everett (Rol) of Atkinson; and her brother-in-law Darrel Dexter of Chambers, NE. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Joyce was happiest in her life when she was doing for others…. whether it was making pies for an auction, cookies for friends and family, sewing dresses for missions, putting together gift baskets for a silent auction or her most recent endeavor of making masks and gowns for COVID.
