She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillie Anna Fix Smith and Carl Louis Smith; and her husband Alvin Arthur Forbes. She is survived by: her sons, Gerald (Gwen) and Lesley (Patricia); and her grandchildren, Wendy Stoneking (Bill), Tammy Forbes (Kim Harring), Shane Forbes, Bradley Forbes (Ashley) and Tanya Forbes.
