He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Obermire (Bill) and Hazel Obermire (Ofe); his brothers, Donnie and Ray; his in-laws, Cecilia and Pearl Hatfield; his sister-in-law Franny; and his son-in-law Dave Stoltenberg.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Obermire of Atkinson; his children, Tracy Obermire (Audrey) of Norfolk, NE and Alisha Stoltenberg (Todd McManigal) of Center, NE; and his siblings, Byron Obermire (Judy) of Atkinson, NE, Barb VanHouten (Jerry) of Butte, NE, Joe Obermire (Cheryl) of Norfolk, NE and Rick Obermire of Gillette, WY. He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Seger Funeral Home (302 W State St, Atkinson, NE 68713). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (104 S Tuller St, Atkinson, NE 68713).
