He was predeceased by: his father Melvin M. Mostek; his siblings, Vernon Mostek, Kenneth Mostek, Joseph Mostek and Jessica Mostek; and his sister-in-law Patty Mostek.

He is survived by: his mother Ellen Mostek (Wojtalewicz) of St. Paul; his wife Janelle Mostek of Ashton; his children, Brian Mostek (Jessie) of Kearney and Britney Mostek of Loup City; his grandchildren, Athena Jackson, Lydia Tedford, Aubrey, Avery and Reed Mostek; and his siblings, Sharon Mostek (Paulette) of Ashton, Curtis Fogg (Sharon) of Central City, Grant Franckowiak (Barbara) of Loup City, Rich Glines (Lawrence) of Central City, Kathleen Mostek (Trish) of Loup City, Mark Hill (Garrett) of Arcadia, Dora Mostek (Chuck Mostek) of Wood River, Janice (Alfred Hurt) of Loup City and Ron Mostek (Sheryl Curlo) of Stockham. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
