He was predeceased by: his parents, Oswald Fuchs and Leona Fuchs (Hagerbaumer); his siblings, Gene Fuchs (Mary) and Arlyce Olsen (Charles); and his parents-in-law, Reinhold and Lillian Penke.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Penke of Bennington, NE; his children, Michelle Frickenstein of Fremont and Michael Fuchs (Sarah) of Arlington; his brother Roger Fuchs (Jean) of Portland, OR; his grandchildren, Grant, Paige Frickenstein, Aaron, Erica and Isaiah Fuchs; and his sister-in-law Melinda Sergeant (Steve) of Elkhorn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (8951 Co Rd 9, Arlington, Nebraska 68002).
Memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or the Arlington Volunteer Fire Department.
