We bid farewell to Dean Ash of Arcadia, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 26, 2024 at the age of 94. Dean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Ash and Mabel Ash (Dye); his wife Marjorie Minnette Buckbee; his daughter Melissa Sue Ash; and his siblings, Duane Ash, Don Ash and Opal Kuh.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Renee of Kearney and Bruce Ash (Cindy) of Arcadia; his grandchildren, Kylie Cheetsos (Brian), Kelsey Dorsey (Matt), Chalee Fernau (Shane), Aaron Drake (Bethany) and Betsy Drake; his great grandchildren, Ashtyn, Teagan, Mason Cheetsos, Neelie, Laiken, Kellen Dorsey, Cole, Kinley, Berklee Fernau, Cooper and Dylan Drake; and his siblings, Jim Ash of Burwell and Bev Johnson (Dwain) of Kearney.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Arcadia Methodist Church (235 S Reynolds St, Arcadia, NE 68815). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Arcadia Fire Department.
