He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Heidi of Arapahoe; his mother Ellen Kyser (Charlie) of Ainsworth; his mother-in-law Louise Jones of Arapahoe; his children, Hollie Lepak (John) of Papillion, NE and Ian Thomas of Kearney, NE; his stepchildren, Toni Lenox (Mike) of Mesa, AZ., Jesse Metzler (Hanna) of Mesa, Josh Metzler (Mitch) of Austin, TX and Jeffery Adam; his brother Bob Thomas (Lori) of O'Neill, NE; his aunt Edith Wentworth (Roger) of Springview, NE; and his uncle Terry Hazard (Connie) of Elkhorn, NE. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the wrestling programs at Arapahoe-Holbrook High School or the Ainsworth Community School in Alan's name.
