He was predeceased by: his son Sean L. Smith; his parents, Grace V. Hunt Smith and Lynn D. Smith (Dale); and his siblings, Kathy J. Smith and Gayle L. Smith Graveside.
He is survived by: his brother Gary Smith of Grand Island, NE; his children, Christa M. Smith of Jacksonville, FL, Jonathan M. Smith of Canton, SD and Amanda G. Smith of Oldsmar, FL; his grandchildren, Kaytlyn J. Smith, Payton M. Smith, Lincoln D. Smith, BriAnna L. Smith and Devon A. Smith; and his great grandchild Noah M. Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In keeping with the way Mike lived his life, the family is requesting that any gifts in his memory be in the form of donation to a chosen charity or random act of kindness to someone in need.
