She was predeceased by: her parents, John Klindworth and Orva Klindworth (Kehler); her husband David "Dub" Christen of Anselm's Catholic Church; and her granddaughter Jenni Klanecky. She is survived by: her children, Mary K Bahensky (Richard), Patricia Christen, Tom Christen (Janie) of Anselmo and Tim Christen of Anselmo; and her grandsons, Josh Christen (Jamie), Wade Christen (Afton), Waylon Christen (Lanay) and James (Emily).

A prayer was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 5:30 PM at the St. Anselm's Catholic Church (201 W Rolla Ave, Anselmo, NE 68813). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
