He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd and Leona; his siblings, Lloyd Jr., Clarence Albert, Harold and Joanne Hardy; his nephew Jerry Hardy; his parents-in-law, Marvin Hazen and Violet Hazen; and his brother-in-law Royle Hazen.

He is survived by: his wife Darlyne; his daughters, Brenda Lindly, Jennifer Lindly and Lee Smith; his grandsons, D'Angelo Lindly of Omaha and Darius Lindly of Omaha; and his siblings-in-law, Helen Lindly of Anselmo and Albert Hardy of Broken Bow. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
