She was predeceased by: her former husband Edward Thomas Spanel (Sonny); her parents, Glenn Cool and Opal Cool (Huffman); her brothers, Laguene, Leroy and Karl Cool; and her great grandchild Sophie Sierra Leiser.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Spanel (Linda), Doug Spanel (Deb Wacker) and Mary Leiser (Randy); her siblings, Wanda Ritchie, Anne Mae Cool, Shirley Howard and Boyd Cool (Mary Anne); her sister-in-law Patricia Winchester (Gary); and her husband Sonny Spanel. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
