He is survived by: his spouse Ruby Taubenheim; his son Virgil Kenney Jr.; his wife LeAnn of Amherst; his daughters, Joan Kinney (Marvin) of Hastings, Brenda Warta (Gary) of Grand Island and Sue Gugel (Randy) of Amherst; his sisters, Barbara Smith of Elm Creek and Faye Stowe of Idaho; his sister-in-law Arlene Clark of Kearney; and also, Richard Kenney (Pamela) of Amherst, John Kenney of Amherst and James Kenney of Grand Island. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
