She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Hansen and Anne Kirstine Hansen (Nielsen); her husband Bob Pfeil; her sister-in-law Shirley Hansen; and her brother Harold William "Bill" Hansen of Dallas, Texas.
She is survived by: her children, Judith Williamson (Donn) of Alma, Curtis Pfeil (Debbie) of Alma, David Pfeil (Cindi) of Phillipsburg, Kansas and Russell Pfeil (Marlene) of Alma; and her grandchildren, Michael, Anne, Amy, April, Mitchell Shane, Nathan, Kirstine, Rachel, Philip, Bryce, Sheena, Shaun, Sarah, Brelyn, Kristopher and Desmond. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established in Ruth's honor, to be designated to the family.
