Lola M. Hawley Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lola M. Hawley of Alma, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 24, 2024 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lola M. Hawley to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Arnold and Matilda "Tillie" Ott (Mullally); her brothers, Elmer Ott (Dorothy) and Harold Ott (Phyllis); her parents-in-law, Carl Hawley and Gladys Hawley; her daughter-in-law Jeanne Hawley; and her brothers-in-law, Chester Hawley (Donna), Dick Hawley and John Hawley (Betty).
She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Hawley (JoAnn) of Naponee, Ryan Hawley (JoJo) of Alma and Richard Hawley (Donna) of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Tonja King (Bob) of Republican City, Debra Smolik (Tony) of Alma, Jason Hawley (Chandra) of Aurora, Nebraska, Erin Sevier (Jon) of Boise, Idaho, Becky Finlayson (Barry) of Washington, Kansas, Matt Hawley (Celeste) of Hastings, Nebraska, Cody Hawley (Stacie) of Lincoln and Caleb Hawley (Amanda) of Waverly, Nebraska; her sister-in-law Iona Hawley of Lincoln; and her cousins, Pat Ott Thorell of Lincoln and Shirley Puls (Ron) of Omaha, Nebraska.. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, her nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the United Methodist Church-Republican City (203 Center Ave, Republican City, NE 68971). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
A memorial has been established in Lola's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
