He was predeceased by: his brother Merwin Schluntz; and his brother-in-law Wendell Ziems. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Niemann of Huntley; his siblings, Clinton Schluntz (Vivian) of Hollinger, Nebraska, Genevieve Ziems of Kearney, Nebraska and Jean Beiriger (William) of Holdrege; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Schluntz of Huntley, Dixie Niemann of Genoa, Nebraska, Michelle Ossowski (Steve) of Roca, Nebraska, Max Niemann of Lincoln and David Niemann (Pam) of St. Edward, Nebraska. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Due to health concerns, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic; current CDC and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services guidelines for Faith-Based Services will be followed.
A memorial has been established in LeRoy's honor, and will be designated at a later date.
