He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wells and Maudeen Wells (Lancaster); and his brother James Thomas Childers. He is survived by: his wife Joan Wells of Alma; his children, David Wells of Alma, Jodeen Acuff (Mark) of Goodland, Kansas and Jay Wells (Tammy) of Alma; and his half-sister Theresa Glenn of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by one niece; along with extended family and friends.
