He is survived by: his daughter Gwenda; his spouse Willalena; his daughter Sharon K.; his husband Dennis Schluntz of Republican City; his grandchildren, Debra (Pat Waltemath) of Kearney, Brenda (Dwain Hudson) of Elizabeth, Dustin (Michele Westerbeck) of Kearney and Amber (Brinton Strohmyer) of Gretna; his great grandchildren, Derek Waltemath, Eliza Hudson, Fletcher Westerbeck, Stanley Westerbeck, Hattie Westerbeck, Emmett Strohmyer and Olivia Strohmyer; and also Gwenda (Darrel Westerbeck) of Alma. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
