With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John D Rhoades of Alma, Nebraska, born in Oxford, Nebraska, who passed away on May 29, 2020 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Andrew and Ruth Lucille Rhoades (Elliott); his grandchildren, Ciera, Keelie and Tye Payne; and his brother-in-law Chad Dehut.

He is survived by: his wife Roberta Tierney; his children, Traci (Allen Muirhead), Jessica Howsden (James) and Dustin Rhoades; his grandson Tyrell Howsden of Alma; and his siblings, Bill Elliott of Hastings, Nebraska, Robert Rhoades (Carolyn) of Long Beach, Mississippi and Roberta Dehut of Waterloo, Iowa.

A memorial has been established in John's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
