Gary Christensen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Christensen (Alma, Nebraska), who passed away on March 23, 2020 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Gordon and Veronica Peterson (Toots); and his brothers-in-law, Kent Peterson and Kenneth Bantam. He is survived by: his wife Karon Christensen of Alma; his children, Todd Christensen (Nora) of Alma and Alison Christensen of Brighton, Colorado; his granddaughters, Lauren Peitzmeier (Jacob) of Grand Island, Nebraska and Karri Christensen of Alma; his sisters, Joyce "Larene" Bantam of Kearney, Nebraska and Shirley Tripe (Don) of Alma; his brother-in-law Keith Peterson (Margie) of Marshfield, Wisconsin; and his sister Margie Lange (Christensen) of Olympia, Washington. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
In lieu of flowers, Gary can be honored by donating to the Harlan County Health System Foundation Board; designated to the new clinic building fund at P.O. Box 836, Alma, NE 68920.
