She was predeceased by: her husband Max Porter; and her brother Don Casper. She is survived by: her children, Frank H. and Edna M. Casper (Bear); her siblings, Ray Casper (Rita), Dave Casper (Alida) of Mannford, Oklahoma, Robert Casper (Judy) of Lancaster, California, Richard Casper (Bea), Ron Casper (Kathy) of Lincoln, Nebraska, Larry Casper of Alma, Linda Vincent (Loyal) of Omaha, Nebraska, Sharon Crawford (Doug) of Alma, Shirley Casper of Alma and Cathy House (Douglas) of Alma; and her stepchildren, Jerre Porter (Kayleen Logan) of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Jeanette Marfield (Jim) of Platte City, Missouri and Jennifer Byarlay (Doug) of Randolph, Kansas. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Due to health concerns, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic; current CDC and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services guidelines for Faith-Based Services and Gatherings will be followed.
A memorial has been established in Barbara's honor and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
