She was loved and cherished by many people including: her siblings, Jacob and Pearl Marsh (Morrison) of Mullen, Nebraska.; her children, Skeeter (Lynda), John, Ashby and Hyannis; her husband Bill Thurston; her daughter Kathy Conner (Dan); her grandchildren, Josh, Alisha, Kaci, Wyatt and Zeke (Jayne); her great grandchild Lucy; her grandchildren, Sam and Tess; her great grandchild John (Tiffany); her siblings, Mardell Huddle (Terry), Butch Marsh (Donna), Phyllis Eberl (Ben) and Bob Marsh (Peg); her sisters-in-law, Joy Boyer, Marilyn Herman (Warren) and Wynona Bolton; her parents, Pearl Marsh and Jake Marsh; and also, Jordan (Chancy), Ace Colby (Danielle) and Brady. She was also cherished by Nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be given to the family to establish a scholarship in her name or given to a charity of the donor's choice.
