It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steven R. Messersmith of Alliance, Nebraska, who passed away on May 28, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Messersmith and Myrtle Emily Messersmith (Bauer) of Alliance; his grandparents, Herman, Myrtle Bauer, F. E., Luva Messersmith and Gertrude Evans Messersmith; his parents-in-law, Merlin and Lois Black; and his brother-in-law Jade Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Lynne; his children, Clay Messersmith (Micki) of Alliance and Cara Wade (Aaron) of Alliance; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Shaylee, Jenna, Kaci Messersmith, Camden, Bryce and Amelia Wade; his sisters, Evelyn Phillips of Kearney and Carol Eilts of Lincoln; and his sisters-in-law, Susan Black (Mark Seader) of New York, NY and Deborah King (Delbert Bender) of Kenesaw. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to the Covid-19 mandates, a private family service will be Friday, June 5 at the United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Gideon Achi officiating.
