It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon K. Smith (Alliance, Nebraska), born in Mapleton, Iowa, who passed away on September 13, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Naab and Beatrice Naab (Ehlers); her husband Roger D. Smith; and her brothers, Sherman Naab and Sheldon Naab.

She is survived by: her former spouse Dale R. Hopp; her children, Brenda (Tommy Abdelnour), Bridget (Mark Vaughn) and Steven (Trista Hopp); her grandchildren, Ashton Hanson, Tavyn Hanson, Bryce Vaughn, Brooke Vaughn, Alex Hopp, Taylor Hopp and Jordan Hopp; her great grandchild Alexander Jordan Hopp; and her stepsons, Stephen (Jennifer Smith) of Severance, CO and Philip Smith of San Antonio, TX.. She is also survived by her niece and three nephews.

Memorials may be given to Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran School in Alliance.
