She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Rathbun and Gwen Rathbun (Nicholson); her husband Dale Shanks; her brother Leonard Rathbun; her grandson Chad Shanks; and her brother-in-law Glenn Shanks.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Shanks (Marcia) of Gillette, WY and Gina Shanks (Loren Kohler) of Highlands Ranch, CO; her grandchildren, Collin Shanks (Hwansuk), Amanda Wentz, Casey Zwart, Bri Daiker (Chris), Angie Shanks Michael and Conner Shanks (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Holden, Jude Richey, Noah and Leah Shanks; her sister Caleen Ragon; and her sister-in-law Sandi Shanks.
Memorials may be given to the First Presbyterian Church or to Regional West Hospice.
